About
We designed and created a new system for building a flight of stairs, just like we like it.
Our staircase system, designed and crafted for a private residence in Bergeijk, is built from a series of identical modular components. This construction method allows the staircase to be applied infinitely and adapted to various heights without compromising on quality or expression. A building block system, like playing with LEGO’s. While the structure has a distinctly technical character, we designed it as a sculptural element that enhances the interior. Functional, precise, and visually compelling.
By integrating the railing directly into the system, the rhythm of the steel framework connects seamlessly with the solid oak treads, creating a unified architectural composition. Thinking of the design as a set of interlocking building blocks allowed us to develop a solution that is both durable and aesthetically refined. The result is a staircase that does more than connect floors: it enriches the space and reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and thoughtful design.
